sir im using pc based control(use parallel port) to control the motor run and stop. so still i need use driver MD10C?

Hi, You need to use motor driver to drive this motor example MD10C.

Can i replace another type of motor such as Planetary DC Geared Motor (42mm) with the provided motor as in this page? If yes, will the source code be the same?

The user manual stated that there are 60 counts per revolution. But when I checked with it and found that there are 240 counts per revolution. Kindly verify on this encoder count per revolution. It really made me confused for 2 months as my project may lead to failure because of the wrong information. Please check. Thank you.

Hi, are you using single channel, or quadrature encoder? If you are using single channel encoder, you should get 60 pulses per shaft rotation. If you are using 4X quadrature encoding, you will get 240 pulses per shaft rotation. Anyway, please do continue the discussion in our technical forum as this section is for short inquiry, thanks :)
